Successful people and small businesses need an integrated set of tax, recordkeeping, legal, and marketing support services that is affordable and personalized for each of them. At present, these services must be provided by three separate business entities. Large consulting firms (e.g., Arthur Andersen) are lobbying for legislation creating the Multi Discipline Firm (MDF), - one-stop shopping for consulting, accounting, and legal services. Integration of these services frees the client from dealing separately with financial, tax, and legal advisors and from trying to correlate the information received from each one. Integration gives a clearer picture without lost information.
